Looking for a DJ for your wedding in Rome? Music is a crucial part of any wedding celebration, which is why we'd be delighted to offer you professional wedding DJs with extensive experience in the field.

Our offer includes a skilled DJ specialising in commercial and house revival, plus sound and lighting systems that recreate the atmosphere of a real club. We can also offer themed nights — 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or Latin American — because we understand that music is fundamental to a successful wedding reception.

Beyond our DJ service, we can also help you source and install sound and lighting systems, and provide musicians to entertain your guests with a repertoire chosen together with you. At Matrimonio Roma, we like to provide a complete, innovative musical entertainment service.

Choosing the right music for your wedding is essential to create the right atmosphere on your big day. That's why we're here to offer our full assistance and guidance, every step of the way, in creating the perfect soundtrack for your wedding in Rome.

Our wedding DJs provide music suited to every phase of the day — smooth, jazzy sounds to welcome your guests and let them enjoy a refreshing drink. During dinner, choose between rock melodies and pop from Italian and international artists.

Then, for the most fun and exciting part of the evening, we get things going with group dances and disco-pop hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s through to today's biggest tracks. You'll love hearing all the songs that have marked your love story, each dropped at just the right moment, so the smiles never fade from your guests' faces.

The origins of the DJ

The origins of the DJ

Many believe the DJ was born alongside the first radio experiments, when deejays connected turntables to transmitters and were needed to select the records to broadcast.

The term "DJ" was coined in America in the 1960s with the rise of discos. The first mixing took place in a New York club, where DJ Francis Grasso modified Thorens turntables and added speed controls; the first two records mixed were by Manu Dibango and Led Zeppelin.

In the 1970s came "Saturday Night Fever" and disco music. Clubs became popular and DJs gained ever more prestige and fame, appearing in many venues. (Source: Wikipedia)
